Chertsey Maths Club
ABOUT
I teach mathematics in a calm and friendly environment. Gaining confidence in maths and problem solving improves educational prospects of your child, helps to improve attitude to learning, build perseverance and sharpen the attention to detail.
Small group sessions run between 16.00 and 18.00 at the Beacon Church above the REVIVE café. These sessions are aimed at KS3 and KS4 children wishing to improve their maths skills and stay on top of the curriculum expectations, preparing for their National Tests in good time without exceptional pressure.
Your child will be given an individual assessment and consultation during the first session. Consecutive sessions will be planned and tailored around your child's needs and aspirations.
Initial assessment session is free, consecutive sessions are paid for on a half termly basis. One hour session costs £20 per student per session.
Each lesson is a mixture of direct one-to-one teaching and written work. Each child has their own workstation and is taught and supervised by a qualified and experienced teacher.
